Sungai Lima Village

There are two villages on the island, separated by jungle. They are Pulau Ketam Village and Sungai Lima Village. There are no roads between those two villages. The people on this island earn their living with fishing.

The population (less than 500) is mostly Chinese ( Hokkien). The houses are all built on stilt above the mangrove swamps.
Most people come to island for just one day. There is no have any hotel at Sungai Lima, but and if you like, you can stay  an homestay-HOME. The island is popular for its crab and other seafood.
This rustic fishing village attracts visitors with its unique stilt-village, where the wooden-board streets are just five-feet across. The traffic consists largely of pedestrians and bicycles.

On Sungai Lima island only have a clinic, (One a week,nurse from Pulau Ketam) A Kindergarden,a Primary school, some shops/stalls at main street Sungai Lima.

五条港渔村

五条港位于马来西亚半岛西部，雪兰莪州巴生港口，吉胆岛附近的小岛。这里的居民大部份为福建人，人口约在一千人左右。居民们 九成是以捕鱼，晒虾米维生。渔民们通常会出海一个星期，然后休息一个星期。

岛上在地质上属于湿地。全岛皆是湿泥地，海水涨潮时分，全岛皆被淹没，不见半寸泥土。也因此岛上的屋子都是高脚屋，屋脚少则1至2尺，多则8至10多尺高，形成了独特的渔村风光。

整个村落地区分为街场区、南市与北市。可以步行走逛村落，但脚车是村民们的代步。

村里只有一间育儿，一间小学-新民华小。由于没有中学，小学毕业后生会往巴生就学，有些毕业须过去位于吉胆渔村的吉胆中学上课。于是就有了五条港学生船服务（校船），载送该村中学生们每日往返吉胆与五条港上课。村里有自已的村委会，负责处理自身的规划与发展。
